Surgtech at the acutoclave in ORPeople have long relied upon the expertise of surgeons to reconstruct serious damage to the body or to remove malignant intruders from the body. During the centuries the number of surgical procedures performed by doctors has risen exponentially.

In fact, the number of procedures is expected to continue to increase in the coming years. That's why surgical technicians are so important to the success of surgery in our society. They play many important roles in the operating room and, in manner speaking, without surgical technicians, the medical industry might just be "all washed up."

The Surgical Technology Program is accredited by the American Surgical Technology Association.
