COMING FALL 2010 Originally this program was set to run Fall 2008 but has been postponed. However, this does not meet that interested students can't begin working on requirements for the BS degree now! Please contact the University Center advisor and find out which general education courses are needed to fulfill the requirements for transfer in 2010. It will be here before you know it!
Weber State University will offer the Automotive Technology Bachelor’s degree in Field Service Operations through extension at Salt Lake Community College. Interested students who have completed their Associate of Applied Science through SLCC’s Automotive Related Technologies, Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing, and Diesel Systems Technology programs hold most of the required courses for transfer. General education courses may not have been completed in the AAS. Please see an advisor for this information.
Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor as early as possible to support effective transfer and planning of courses. Admission to the program requires an Associate of Applied Science in one of the program areas listed above. We recommend that students complete their Associate of Science prior to transferring into the program. For further information, or questions, contact John Wiemer, University Center advisor, 957-4550 john.wiemer@slcc.edu
