This evening program is available to students who have completed certain lower division courses through SLCC’s Computer Science or Computer Information System programs. The program offers three emphasis areas: Software Engineering, Network and Security Administration, or a Composite emphasis (if you already have another BS degree) or a Gaming CertificateThis web page is designed to provide general information about Weber State University and the Computer Science program. In addition, to fulfilling various prerequisites for the Computer Science major, an Associate of Science Degree (in anything) earned from SLCC meets all general education requirements at Weber State University.
Please be aware that an Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S) will not clear your general education requirements. Students are strongly encouraged to complete the requirements for an Associate of Science degree before enrolling in the program. We recommend students meet with an advisor to support effective planning and transfer.
The links below are provided to help answer specific questions regarding admissions, lower-division courses needed to satisfy transfer requirements, specific program information and access to the Weber State University Computer Science program home page.
