Registration Information

The first time you take a USU class you must register in person at the USU Salt Lake City Center, 2500 South State Street, SLC, UT, 84115. (801-646-5570). The staff will assist you in the registration process. In subsequent semesters, you may register and pay on-line.

  • Please note that off-campus registration generally begins five (5) weeks before the semester starts. Please register as early as possible.
  • It is extremely important that you register each semester BEFORE the semester begins. A $20 late fee will be assessed to students for each class registered after the beginning of the first day of the semester. If you have any questions about deadlines, please call the USU Center or Donna Minch.
  • Students taking classes at the SLCC Campus must purchase a parking permit. Parking Services are located in the Gunderson Facilities Service Building, Room 103 (4365 South 2200 West).  801-957-4011
