Technology Management        

      Utah Valley University (UVU) will begin offering the Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Management through extension at Salt Lake Community College International Airport Center (IAC) in January 2010. This is an evening program available to SLCC students who have completed all certain lower division courses required for transfer into the junior and senior level courses.

        Students who enroll in the Technology Management program are admitted as UVU students, and pay UVU tuition and fees.  Courses will be scheduled at SLCC’s International Airport Center.  All necessary student services will be facilitated through the University Center.

         The Technology Management program is in cooperation with Utah Valley University and the Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) University Center.  This evening program is available to students who have completed a minimum of three semesters in their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) program in Welding, Non-Destructive Testing and Air Frame and Maintenance; or the Professional Pilot Associate of Science program. (Please note: additional coursework may be required of students completing AAS degrees.)   Students who have completed a minimum of three semesters’ coursework in other AAS programs are welcome to apply. 

         The program will begin by offering one course delivered in the traditional classroom method   during evening hours. (See schedule below)  Beginning Fall Semester 2010, students will have the opportunity to enroll in both online and traditionally delivered courses.  Students are strongly encouraged to meet with the University Center Advisor, John Wiemer, to support effective planning and transfer.
