The 2009-2010 Tuition Wavier application deadline is this Friday April 3rd

To apply each student must submit an official application an essay from each 
applicant describing their merit, desire and need for an upcoming waiver as 
well as a request for SLCC printed unofficial transcripts. Please note that in
order to be eligible a student must:

  • You must have attended a minimum of nine (9) credit hours at SLCC or another institution to be considered a ‘continuing student’.  If you are a transfer student, please attach your academic transcripts to this application.

  • You must submit this application form, along with an essay describing your qualifications motivation and needs for the sought after tuition waiver.  Please attach your essay to this form; do not send it separately.

  • Be a Utah resident. Students that are considered ‘non-residents’ and those attending on a student visa are not eligible

  • Enroll in at least nine (9) credit hours per semester.

  • Have declared Visual Art & Design as your major and enroll in eligible classes.  (Programs in the Continuing Education Department and clock–hour programs are not eligible.  )

  • Be a matriculated student. (Be admitted to SLCC and pay the admission fee for a degree seeking student)

  • Maintain satisfactory progress*.
