Aerospace Manufacturing Certificate

Utah Aerospace Pathways guides motivated individuals into careers in composites and manufacturing with the growing Utah aerospace industry. People who successfully complete the 125-hour program earn an Aerospace Manufacturing Certificate, guaranteeing them an interview with partner companies.

After one year of successful work with a partner company, employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement for additional training and education.

New Perspectives on Change in the Workplace

Change reflects an opportunity for professional growth rather than paralysis; in this course participants will learn how their perspective of change impacts their lives. The instructor will introduce tools for lessening feelings of resistance, stress and being overwhelmed when obstacles occur. Participants will develop skills that support taking control of situations, greater self-empowerment, confidence and productivity.

Learn to:

  • Understand negative and positive ways people interpret change
  • Develop strategies to stop resisting change and adapt new ways of working
  • Learn techniques to transform change into an experience of empowerment
  • Understand that embracing change leads to improvement in relationships and open communication
  • Project how a new mindset toward change impacts responses to future workplace challenges

Global Business Management

The Executive Certificate of Global Business Management is offered to business executives, professionals, working staff, entrepreneurs and qualified students who wish to increase their knowledge and improve their strategies in global business practices.

Topics covered include:

  • International trade strategies

  • Business in diverse cultural markets

  • International marketing

  • Finding quality overseas distributors/partners

  • International cash management, getting paid and trade finance

  • International trade logistics including documents and shipping

  • International legal and tax considerations

The course is also valuable for global entrepreneurs, individuals who are new to international trade and have no prior international business experience and professionals from service industries such as banking, transportation and trade consultants.
