Adjunct Registration:
Adjunct Faculty:
SLCC invites all adjunct faculty to the 2020 Convocation. The morning plenary session will begin at 9:15 a.m. followed by the Provost’s meeting from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. These meetings will be held in-person and live-streamed. Adjunct faculty will be compensated 3 hours for this event. Department meetings will be scheduled and compensated separately. Newly hired adjunct faculty will be sent orientation materials via email by Friday, August 21. They are then invited to attend a New Adjunct Faculty Orientation Q & A on the evening of Convocation.
Adjunct faculty planning to attend Convocation either in-person or virtually should register for the event through the SLCC Registration system in order to receive compensation for their time.
Event Protocol:
- Face coverings will be required in all areas at all times
- Appropriate social distancing must be maintained
- Symptom checks will be conducted
- Event attendance will be documented
- Those with COVID-19 symptoms will be asked to leave
- Frequent hand washing/sanitizing is encouraged
Employee 2020 Event Perk:
As there are no food trucks, all SLCC employees hired on or before August 24 will receive a complimentary $10 SLCC food court lunch credit to be used at a later time.
The $10 credit will be automatically loaded to your OneCard on September 14 and may be used any time before December 14, 2020. Eligible purchases:
- The credit may be used for purchases in the food courts at Taylorsville Redwood and Miller during fall 2020 semester. For the latest food services information including food court details click here.
- The credit may not be used for purchases from What's Bruin by Follett or the QuickStop in the Taylorsville Redwood Student Center.
