SLCC offers the competitive advantage
A dental hygienist is a licensed professional oral health care provider who focuses on preventing and treating oral diseases in order to promote optimal oral health and total wellness. This career path opens a world of professional opportunities including clinical, administrative, public health, government, education, research and international service.
Students receive affordable and comprehensive higher education from faculty who hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree. Our small class size promotes individualized attention and peer collaboration. Licensed Dental Hygienists and Dentists supervise the clinical experiences in an innovative on-site dental hygiene clinic. Upon graduation, students may utilize the statewide transfer agreement to attend Utah’s four-year colleges for degree completion of a Bachelor’s degree.
SLCC does not offer an accelerated anesthesia continuing education course at this time. DH programs that offer anesthesia courses for continuing education: Web SearchCE Anesthesia Courses, or log-on to www.wreb.org.
