Certificate Program Students
The Horizonte Scholarship for SL Tech Students is for Horizonte graduates who are interested in obtaining a certificate at Salt Lake Community College. This scholarship covers 75% of tuition, fees, and books for one certificate program.
Scholarship Application Dates: the application is open for the entire academic year and can be filled out at any time.

- Once you have your student number, please visit ScholarshipUniverse to fill out the scholarship application.
- After answering questions, you should see the Horizonte scholarship application.
- Fill out the requested information and you will be reviewed for eligibility.
- You are responsible for the other 25% of your tuition, fees, and books.
- If you are working toward a certificate, you must stay continually enrolled in the program without taking any breaks. If you take a break, you must re-apply for the scholarship.
- You must:
- Write a thank you letter (details given if awarded scholarship)
- Meet with your academic advisor at least once each block.
