Renée completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Linguistics and a Master of Education (Med) in Education, Culture and Society at the University of Utah, both as a traditional student and a non-traditional student, over many years. Renée has worked in Higher Education for over 30 years, 7 years at SLCC and the rest where at the U of U; the majority of this time at the University of Utah was in the College of Nursing, recruiting, admitting, and advising graduate nursing students. Renée believes that higher education professionals should serve as positive and practical visionaries. It is her goal to challenge those in higher education to improve every student’s experience, this not only means providing the traditional services and experiences that students have come to expect, but to also branching out to find new avenues of service to inform and expand best practices in higher education. Renée is dedicated to promoting meaningful engagement among students, faculty, and staff.

Bonnie completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Utah State University as a non-traditional student, and has spent the last 20 years advising engineering students at USU, Utah, and now SLCC. Her number one priority is to serve and make a difference for others and helping them shape their future. Her hobbies include gardening, hockey, and spending time with family. She enjoys the thrill of helping others change their future through education and making a difference.
