How to become a Tutor

STEM Tutors tutor classes that are taught through the SLCC School of Science, Mathematics, and Engineering (SME). We expect tutors to be familiar with the course content, but we don’t expect tutors to be experts. It is more important that tutors can model how to problem-solve and how to help students become independent active learners. Interested applicants should refer to the Employment Opportunities page for when positions available positions are opened.
