Communication

Communication is a discipline that teaches vital skills for success in today's society. Good communication skills are highly prized in business, technical, and professional careers, in the community, and in personal relations.

Earning an Associate Degree through the Communication Department of Salt Lake Community College is efficient and provides a smooth transfer into university studies. Classes are taught at many SLCC campuses and online. Full-time Communication faculty and the Communication adviser are friendly and willing to answer any questions as they help you toward graduation. We offer an Associate of Science degree with different emphases in Mass Communication and an Associate of Science Degree in Speech Communication. An Associate of Applied Science degree is offered through Career and Technical Education (CTE) using Communication courses.
