Welcome to the Hospitality Management site!

This Associate of Applied Science degree offers students a realistic educational approach to a career in the hospitality industry. Its varied course of study prepares students with the knowledge and competencies necessary to enter the industry upon graduation. In addition to the institution’s general education requirements, students take classes specific to the industry including an introduction to hospitality, food safety and sanitation, food service operations, cost control, legal studies, financial management, marketing essentials, events planning, and hotel management.

Located at the Miller Campus, the SLCC Culinary Institute is a beautiful free-standing facility which has gas and electric kitchens, multiple classrooms, a computer lab, demonstration kitchen and dining room. You will receive both classroom education and practice from faculty members with numerous years of experience in the Hospitality industry.
