COURSE/PROGRAM DELIVERY MODEL

This program is offered in a Competency Based Education (CBE) format. This allows students to accelerate and complete the program as soon as competency is demonstrated.

Other

Students must have a previous CDL Class A License and related driving experience, DOT physical, a copy of their MVR and be drug tested before the class starts.

Drug Testing: Participation in the SLCC Random drug testing program is required. Students must proceed immediately upon notification for pre-enrollment or random drug testing. Students pay for the initial test, however, if the student’s name is randomly selected for testing after the initial test, the SAT will pay for that test. If a test comes back positive for drugs or alcohol, it is grounds for immediate dismissal from the program.
