The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships (OFAS) is here to assist you through the financial aid process. Whether you need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or have questions about different options to pay for school, OFAS is here to help.

Please make sure to complete the correct FAFSA for the semester(s) you plan to attend. The 2026–2027 FAFSA will not be used until Fall 2026. For Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters, you need to fill out the 2025–2026 FAFSA application.

If you plan to enroll in Summer 2026 courses, please have all classes registered before June 2nd, 2026. After that date, we will freeze your financial aid credit hours, and additional classes will not be covered by financial aid. Registering for Summer courses will place you on a list to have your Summer aid eligibility reviewed by our office. Please keep an eye on your Bruinmail and financial aid dashboard in MySLCC for updates.
