Ways to Give

SLCC Giving Day 2021

What is SLCC Giving Day?

Salt Lake Community College’s first-ever SLCC Giving Day is a 1,948-minute (32 hours, 28 minutes) community awareness/engagement event and fundraising celebration. SLCC Giving Day begins at 8:00am, 2/17/2021, and ends at 4:28pm, 2/18/2021.

SLCC Giving Day is a college-wide event that unifies and challenges boards, councils and trustees; staff, faculty, students/student leadership and alumni; community partners and friends to dream big and think boldly about what’s possible for Salt Lake Community College and its students, its programs and its community. SLCC Giving Day involves all college campuses and departments, both academic and administrative.

Why is SLCC Giving Day different than any other day?

  • The entire SLCC community will come together to serve as a force for good for SLCC for 1,948 (commemorating the year of SLCC’s founding) minutes.
  • SLCC Giving Day’s north star is an overarching message that our students of today give us hope for the future.
