Be on the lookout through the Business Building for information on when Business Jam will be and what time. Also ask your instructor if they will be holding a review that evening.
The Business Jam is a fun activity the Gail Miller School of Business provides to help you prepare for your final exams, make contacts for your future school and/or career and foster a sense of community. Business Jam is held on reading day (Friday before Finals) for both the Fall and Spring Semesters.
Examples of activities from past years include:
- Shark Tank competition to win $$ and represent SLCC at U of U competition
- Jeopardy
- Trivia Night
- CSIS Jamboree
- Accounting Game Night
- Plinko game
- Talk to Transfer Advisors from Utah State University, University of Utah, Weber State University and Westminster.
- Visit with employers from various companies to find out about current or future job opportunities. Bring a resume to share with them and get some feedback.
For those who attend this event there is an opportunity to submit your name in a drawing for a big prize such as iPads and Air pods. Food is always provided.
