Upload your best work to a personal website, ePortfiolo, or blog

If you don’t already have an online site where you can display your artwork, you need to create one. If you have created a General Education ePortfolio in one of your classes, just make a new page there, to display your work. If you need to start from scratch there are several free and easy website creation and hosting services available to you. Here is a list of just a few.

Upload and display your best work for the judges to see. Much of your artwork is probably already in digital form ready for upload to your website. If you have pieces done in traditional media, such as charcoal or acrylics, you must photograph or scan the work before uploading. If you are submitting motion media, you could first upload the video to YouTube and then embed it into your website. Descriptions should be placed near (under) the artwork on the webpage where the work is displayed. You should list the size, media used and any other information about the piece that will help the judges.
