Welcome to Salt Lake Community College Workforce Training in partnership with the Utah Department of Workforce Services. This page is to help students with the process of choosing an approved training program, applying for DWS training funds, and registering for a program if funding is approved.

- Make note of the Program and Program Coordinator you are interested in from the list below.
- AFTER reading all instructions, select the Apply Now! button below to begin your application for training assistance to the Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS).
- After submitting your application it will be assigned to a DWS Employment Counselor who will contact you in 3-10 business days.
- You and your Employment Counselor will discuss the program(s) you are interested in and choose one that is the right fit for you. The approval process can take as much long as 45 days.
- After being approved by DWS, you will need to create a student profile at this link: HERE
- Once you have created a student profile contact the Program Coordinator to initiate the registration process.
