We are open!

Our Taylorsville Redwood Campus location (STC 035) is up and running, resuming with normal hours and offering all services. Both the South City and Jordan Campus location are open and have resumed medical and counseling appointments by appointment only. See Locations found below for additional details. Please note, the CHC will resume appointment fees and no-show fees at all locations beginning August 24, 2021. Medical and Counseling services are being offered both in-person and via telehealth.

Masks are required in all common areas of the health center and patients will be screened prior to their appointment. If you are experiencing any COVID-related symptoms, please call to cancel or change your appointment to a telehealth session. Thank you for your patience at this time. For questions or to make an appointment, please call 801-957-4268.

Salt Lake Community College requires face coverings to be worn in health-related settings. Thank you for understanding.

The Health & Counseling Center Services are offered by appointment, please call ahead. Feel free to also call us if you have any questions:

  1. Make an appointment by calling 801-957-4268.
  2. Show up 15 minutes early for your appointment to fill out forms in our office.
  3. Please bring your SLCC ID number or OneCard.

To cancel or reschedule an appointment, call 24 hours in advance of the appointment, and speak directly with our staff, 801-957-4268. If you get sent to voicemail leave a detailed message with your name and appointment time to avoid a no-show fee. If the phone line is busy, we may be able to better serve you via email. Our email address is centerforhealthandcounseling@slcc.edu.

Monday appointments must be canceled or rescheduled the previous Friday, for example, if your appointment is set for 9 a.m. Monday, you must call by 9 a.m. Friday to cancel or reschedule.

To cancel or reschedule an appointment the day after a holiday, you must call the workday prior to the holiday. For example, if your appointment is set for 9 a.m. Wednesday, and the holiday is Tuesday, you must call by 9 a.m. Monday to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

If you skip a medical, counseling, or massage appointment, or are more than 10 minutes late, without canceling or rescheduling 24 hours in advance, you will be charged $10.

Unpaid fees of $50 or above result in an immediate hold placed on your student account, and you will not be able to register for classes until the fees are paid.

To remove fees, please visit one of our three locations and pay in person or pay over the phone via credit card.
