Drivers’ Education


The Salt Lake Community College is now offering a Bilingual Drivers' Education Program at the Larry Miller Campus, 9750 South 300 West. The program is offered through the college as non-credit. Students pay a flat fee of $250.00 to attend. Utah State Laws require 18 hours of classroom instruction and 12 hours of on-road driving/ observation. The Salt Lake Community College offers nine 2 hour sessions of classroom instructions and 6 hours of on-road driving and 6 hours of observation.

Classes are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for English instructions and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for Spanish instructions. All classes are held on the Miller Campus in building MFEC room #113.

To register for the next available class please contact SPED Registration at (801) 957-5200, or register in person at the Larry Miller Campus located at 9750 South 300 West, MPDC (Miller Professional Development Center) room #110, at the Registration desk and you may register by using a credit card, check, or money order.
