CTE program

The Dental Hygiene Program at Salt Lake Community College is a two year ADA Accredited program in which students graduate with an AAS Degree (Associates of Applied Science) which can take about three years full-time. A bachelor’s degree takes about five years of full-time classes.

Students are taught academic and clinical skills which prepare them in all aspects of the practice of dental hygiene. The faculty and adjunct faculty in the clinical areas are licensed dentists and dental hygienists.
