As the largest publicly-funded incubator in Utah, SLCC’s Miller Business Resource Center is home to its Business Innovation Center, a business incubator, currently serving 14 technology-based businesses. The Business Innovation Center opened its doors in 2003 as a mixed use incubator espousing the entrepreneurial philosophy of Larry H. Miller, Miller Campus’ largest benefactor. In four short years, it has tripled in size and has changed its focus to attracting software development companies responding to needs in the medical, financial, and information technology industry sectors. In total, the companies employ over 35 full-time people and generate combined revenues of over 17 million annually.
