The School of Applied Technology (Skills Center) serves many students who vary in age, backgrounds, interests, and vocational plans. We employ a wide variety of methods and materials to do so, always with the same goal in mind: Your Success!
School of Applied Technology (Skills Center) programs offer:
- Short-term, open-entry/open-exit career and technical training.
- Enrollment on a weekly or modular-entry basis.
- Individualized and hands-on instruction from caring and competent professionals.
- Instructional advisors assigned to each student to help ensure their success.
- Assessment services to help determine meaningful training and employment decisions.
- Assistance in obtaining employment upon program completion.

The School of Applied Technology (Skills Center) students all have their own unique story to tell about how it has helped shape their lives; i.e., accomplishments, difficulties endured while attending school, memorable experiences, how the programs helped improve career and job goals, etc. We'd like you to share your story or nominate a student. Each story will be preserved in a special scrapbook along with possible usage on a bulletin board, web site, in a newsletter, catalog, or other promotional materials. We'd also love to include your photograph. |
