Currently, no program or degree changes are planned as part of this transition. Programs that existed before the move to the Gail Miller Business School will continue.
Like all academic programs at SLCC, arts and media curricula are regularly reviewed and refined to stay aligned with industry standards and transfer partners. If future updates occur through that normal process, students will receive guidance and support to navigate any changes.
Bottom Line: Your program of study remains intact.
This is something we are interested in and a goal for the future, but no new program is being launched now. If that time comes, we will work with students and industry partners to develop the curriculum for a new degree.
Updates will be shared when formal development begins.
Yes, students will continue learning from the same faculty and taking classes in the same locations, including South City, Redwood, Herriman, and online.
As the school grows, there may be opportunities to expand offerings, but no changes to current faculty or locations are planned as part of this transition.
With one exception, Arts & Media and Business advisors are not changing. Advising locations and contacts will remain the same.

The one exception is that Communications programs are moving to Humanities, and advising support for those programs will move accordingly.

- May 18, 2026: Summer Classes resume as normal for Arts & Media students at South Campus
- July 1, 2026: Arts and Media programs officially become part of the Gail Miller Business School.
- Fall Semester 2026: The new Gail Miller Business School building will be open for the first day of classes.
