Student Speakers' Showcase
WHAT IS THE STUDENT SPEAKERS' SHOWCASE?
Each semester, the Communication Department hosts a showcase of the best and brightest student speeches at its biannual Student Speakers' Showcase.
The best student speeches from COMM 1020: Principles of Public Speaking are nominated by professors and/or classmates and judged by Communication Department faculty.
Winners are given the chance to present their speeches in the showcase, receive recognition from the Dean, and are awarded cash prizes.
HOW TO QUALIFY
Student nominees must be enrolled in COMM 1020: Principles of Public Speaking. Professors and/or classmates will select their nominees from the speeches created for coursework. If you are interested in taking COMM 1020: Principles of Public Speaking, please browse the searchable class schedule.
