Does the Media policy only apply if it's direct college related? I am asked often to comment on criminal justice/police issues, sometimes they will refer to my Assoc. Professor position if that fits their story. Thoughts?

The college wants to encourage faculty members who have particular expertise to comment in the media on areas of their expertise. Section IV.B was revised as follows:

All inquiries from the media, on issues of college-wide impact or institutional significance, must be referred to the director of Strategic Communication & Public Relations.
