The General Education Certificate is foundational to continued work in a wide variety of majors and prepares students for further education, civic engagement, and lifelong learning. It consists of 27 credits in Core and Distribution areas and is accepted by all public colleges and universities in Utah.

Associate's Degrees

Salt Lake Community College also offers full associate's degrees for incarcerated students. These degrees require an additional 33 credits beyond the General Education Certificate. At this time, PEP students can complete associate's degrees in the following areas of study:

Criminal Justice

Humanities
