Healthcare/Customer Service Interactions Essay:

Applicants must type an essay that includes the following information:

1. Content development

   Uses pertinent content to demonstrate a credible understanding of the topic. (The ideas should flow smoothly from one to another and are clearly linked to each other making it very easy for the reader to follow).

2. Analysis connections

   • Connects experiences/skills learned in healthcare/customer service interactions. (Fully explains their experiences/skills learned interacting with the public that involved healthcare/customer service interactions
   • Reflection on experience

3. Healthcare/Customer Service Interactions

   Type and length of job experience with duties performed. (i.e. can include volunteer/observation in healthcare, customer service interaction, working in healthcare with either direct or indirect patient contact).

4. Grammar, spelling and punctuation

   Uses proper mechanics for essay. (Uses correct spelling, punctuation and grammar consistently throughout the paper which enriches the reading of the essay).

5. Format

   One page essay (double spacing, 12 point font, minimum 250 words)
