Lynn Miller has worked for Salt Lake Community College since 1996 in various positions including academics, cashiering and 13 years in Human Resources.

Lynn came to work in the Risk Management Office in April of 2016 as a Risk Coordinator. Lynn serves as the College records officer, which includes receiving and responding to records requests such as GRAMA, subpoenas, and release based requests. She also assists College employees with records retention and archiving. Lynn coordinates the College’s contract review process, and maintains the central repository for College contracts.

Lynn manages the College’s workers’ compensation program and the College’s drug testing program. Lynn serves as a liaison between the College and its insurers, managing all property, and liability claims including subrogation of claims. Lynn maintains both incoming and outgoing certificates of insurance. She also serves as a member of the Accident Review Committee.

Lynn works with the College’s Director of Risk management to deploy various risk management strategies to reduce or eliminate liability exposures, which includes educating and training employees on the various programs in place, and how we can all help manage risk for the College.

Lynn holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration, as well as two associate’s degrees.
