Program Overview

Building Commissioning (BCx) is a holistic quality-focused process for verifying, and documenting that a building's systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) are planned, designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained to meet the needs of the building's owner.

Commissioning technicians work under the supervision of Certified Commissioning Providers to analyze the performance of a building's HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical systems to ensure that the project design specifications and the owner's requirements are met.

The program includes WTCM100 Introduction to Building Commissioning course and 45-hours of hybrid training over 8-weeks, including 8 in-person classes and 3 in-person labs (11 sessions total).
