Program Overview
Salt Lake Community Colleges offers three Project Management Professional (PMP) online career training programs. Online Career Training programs are 100% online, open entry year round upon payment of fees, and self-paced. Students have access to their instructor(s) using a messaging app embedded in their online classroom. There is team of student advisors available to assist with classroom navigation and technical support.
Project Management Essentials with CAPM Prep prepares you to sit for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification exam immediately upon completion. Students who are new to project management can quickly obtain their Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) designation to get their career off the ground.
Mastering Project Management with PMP Prep is advanced training for current project managers and prepares you to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam. Please review the full exam requirements at www.pmi.org.
Students have the option of taking a bundled program that includes the CAPM course and the PMP Prep course to fill any training or experience gaps and maximize their project management training. Exam fees are not included in the program fee and students must schedule the exams on their own after they have completed their training.
