HOW TO REGISTER
These SolidWorks certification courses are designed for beginners through intermediate-level SolidWorks users. These SolidWorks trainings provide hands-on instruction on creating 3D engineering drawings and assemblies. At the conclusion of the introductory SolidWorks course, SolidWorks Essentials, students may purchase a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate exam voucher and sit for the proctored SolidWorks certification exam.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
• Create 3D engineering drawings and assemblies using sketch and modeling tools
• Calculate and modify parametric features and equations
• Demonstrate skills required to pass the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam
• Use advanced features to create specialized holes
• Create complex shapes, with and without hybrid modeling, using surface tools
• Apply tolerances to parts, assemblies, and drawings
SolidWorks Essentials qualifies students for a certificate of achievement and prepares students to take the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam. Advanced SolidWorks builds on the topics and techniques introduced in the basic to intermediate SolidWorks course and will prepare students to take the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) exam. Students will advance from simple shape modeling to fully parametric complex models while becoming a more efficient and effective designer for real-world design industries.
SolidWorks Essentials $848
This 48-hour course meets twice a week over an eight-week period. As a result of this course, participants will be able to create 3D engineering drawings and assemblies using sketch and modeling tools; calculate and modify parametric features and equations; and demonstrate skills required to pass the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam.
This course qualifies participants for a microcredential and prepares participants to take the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, participants will qualify for entry-level positions, 3D Printer Machine Operator, 3D Printer Assistant, SolidWorks Designer, 3D Modeling Specialist, Mechanical Designer, CAD Technician, CAD Drafter, and CAD Designer.
Learning Outcomes (By the end of this course students will be able to:)
