Special Education and Middle School Math Endorsement

This Math Endorsement is comprised of 5 courses, including a methods course for SPED teachers and 5 math content and foundations courses. This endorsement is offered through Workforce Training and Education and is for teachers looking to be endorsed in Middle School or SPED Mathematics. While SPED Candidates must take the methods course, middle school candidates only need to take the other 5 courses. Pre-Calculus and Calculus are pre-requisites for all the Foundations of Teaching courses. The credit courses are offered on a rotating basis and WTED 850 (Methods) is offered as a not-for credit course in Fall and Spring. Candidates must apply to the college to take the credit courses and can sign up for the methods course, WTED 850, at the link in the box below. If you have questions about the pre-requisite courses, or any of the courses, please call Emily Huillet at 801-957-5423.
