Funding Education Beyond High School: The Guide to Federal Student Aid

A detailed description of all Title IV student aid programs which are administered by the federal government.

FAFSA on the web:

The electronic Free Application for Federal Student Aid may be completed online and transmitted directly to the Federal Processor.

The NASFAA Public Page:

This page, administered by the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, answers questions concerning the process and requirements of financial aid.


The Financial Aid Information Page. A free and comprehensive independent and objective guide to numerous financial aid topics. Includes five free scholarship databases.

Scholarship Scam Alert:

Updated frequently, this page cautions students and their families concerning fraudulent scholarships and scholarship search programs.


FastWEB (Financial Aid Search Through the WEB) is the largest and most complete scholarship search on the Internet. It provides access to a searchable database of more than 400,000 private sector scholarships, fellowships, grants, and student loans available to students.

Child Care Assistance:

Child Care Voucher Assistance Program supports low income students by supplementing the cost of child care. This program is funded through student fees and administered through Child Care and Family Services at SLCC.
