Workshop Learning Outcomes Overview
- Students will be able to introduce themselves in 60 seconds using the ROE model (relax, open, eye contact).
- Students will apply 3 practicing techniques.
- Students will receive and apply feedback.
- By the end of this session, students will be able to identify 3 of the 5 components of the SMART acronym.
- By the end of this session, students will be able to integrate the SMART goal model into 1 personal goal.
- Recall 2 decision-making models.
- Apply a decision-making matrix to evaluate options.
- Reflect on their own decision-making style.
- Identify two of the characteristics of Impostor Syndrome.
- Apply at least one personal strategy for reducing impostor feelings.
- Define what self-advocacy is.
- Describe 2 ways self-advocacy improves academic success.
- By the end of this session, students will be able to identify the 4 phases of the “Systems Approach.”
- By the end of this session, students will be able to practice applying the “Systems Approach” model in at least 1 scenario.
