Employer Resources

Welcome employer partners! Career Services works with employers to help students and alumni find employment opportunities. We offer several ways to recruit SLCC students and alumni for your job openings.

All employers must create an account in Handshake or add SLCC as a favorite recruiting school before you post a job or internship, register for the job fair, or table at one of our campuses. Please go to join.handshake.slcc.

Complete the online Handshake employer profile.  Your profile will be approved within 48 hours and once approved, you will be able to post your job and internship openings. In the future, you are able to post new jobs by logging back in Handshake using the same username and password you created.  Your position will remain posted for the time you specify or if you do not provide a time, it will default for one month. This service is free of charge.
Once your Handshake profile is approved, your company can post jobs and internships free of charge. Please note it may take 72 hours to approve your posting. Make sure you add in all accurate information or your postings may be denied.

We host two career fairs a year, in Fall and Spring semesters, Anne one Alumni fair in May.  All employers can register and pay for the fairs in Handshake. For more information, visit our Career Fairs/Recruiting page.

Visit our Employer Job Fair PowerPoint for help in preparing for job fairs.

Thank you for your interest in tabling with us! Once your company has been approved in Handshake, please email us at least a week in advance with your two desired tabling times. Please fill out the form below and send it to April.Teran@slcc.edu. Make sure to following the recruiting policies or future tabling requests may be denied.
