Child Care Program Facility Tour and Service Project
Join us on Wednesday, October 21 for an SLCC Alumni Engage & Learn event! Guests will tour the Tim and Brenda Huval Child Care Center, one of the college’s essential resources providing support to students, faculty, and staff.
During this event, we will learn how the Child Care program operates multiple centers located at the South City, Jordan, and Taylorsville Redwood campuses.
SLCC partners will share how the child care program serves SLCC. We will also be participating in a fun project that will located in the classrooms.
Please RSVP by Monday, October 19 as space is limited to ensure a respectful and informative experience.

We will first meet in room 2-190, then walk to the Tim and Brenda Huval Child Care Center, located at the north east side of the main building.
Parking:
Park near the Permit Kiosk, located on the east side of the main building. Enter through the main entrance, which is directly across from the Permit Kiosk on the east side of the building. Room 2-190 is on the second floor, north end of building.
Refreshments will be served
SLCC's Child Care centers welcome donated supplies that alumni are invited to bring to the event as well as monetary donations. Most needed items are listed below:
- Tissues
- Baby Wipes
- Children’s Books
- Modeling Clay
- Washable, Tempera Paint
- Paint Brushes
- Colored Paper
- Cardstock
