Program Overview

This 25-week Web Development Program equips students with essential skills to explore website development jobs and careers.

This program follows a sequential cohort model. The program is sequential because the four courses that make up the program build knowledge on one another, so they must be taken in order. Cohorts learn, complete assignments, and take assessments at the same pace as each other during the program. This model is designed to provide a suggested learning pace, improve professional communication skills, and develop your professional network.

The training curriculum includes classes in front-end web development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (JS) and backend web coding languages like PHP, MySQL. The program ends with a capstone project to building your front-end and full-stack development portfolio. We offer both in-person and online web development courses.

This Introduction to Web Development program meets twice a week for 25 weeks. In this training participants prepare for entry level careers in web development or further specialized coding training. This program includes basic programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL while also introducing industry standard programs like Figma, Git, and GitHub.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Demonstrate the ability to leverage frontend web development coding to design and construct web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Build dynamic, data-driven websites using foundational back-end coding skills like PHP and MySQL.
  • Develop and execute a web development projects, integrating diverse technologies and coding skills to, as part of a Capstone project.
  • Apply practical web development skills in a professional internship environment emulating a full-stack experience, enhancing real-world experience for aspiring website developers and creators.
