Academic Probation (P2)
Students whose Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) remains below 2.0 for a second consecutive semester are placed on academic probation, and a registration hold is placed on the student’s account. A notice will be sent to students informing them of the academic probation and the registration hold.
If a student is placed on academic probation, the following actions should be completed to identify strategies for improving their GPA and removing their registration hold:
- Call or visit a SEEA coordinator today!
Student Success Coordinators direct students to resources to help improve their GPA which may include workshops on time management, submitting appeals, or connecting them to an SLCC department that has resources specific to their situation.
