You are not alone. A variety of support services and resources are available to help you succeed. (Go to Current Students for even more resources.)

As an SLCC student, you have access to an array of technical support resources and services.

    Access various Google Apps such as Google Calendar, Google Docs and Google Sites, along with various free services.

Some SLCC Online courses require in-person exam proctoring. To make an in-person exam proctoring appointment on one of the SLCC campuses, click here.

For those living outside of the Salt Lake Valley, Remote Proctoring can be arranged by the student. It is best for students to setup Remote Proctoring early during the semester. It is the policy of Salt Lake Community College to provide fair and orderly procedures to resolve student grievances. SLCC’s student complaint process is described in the Student Code of Rights and Responsibilities.

SLCC Resources

General and Program Advisors are available to assist you both in person and online with:

Ordering textbooks and other materials is easy. After checking your course Syllabus or Canvas for the books you need, you can order them from the SLCC College Bookstore.

You can also order books from your local textbook store or through online book sellers.

Students can book Online appointments with a Career Coach to clarify career and major goals, assess skills and abilities, and learn job search techniques. In-person and Online appointments are available.

SLCC Online partners with the Disability Resource Center (DRC) in making available the needed services and resources for students with disabilities.

The DRC can provide you with a variety of individualized accommodations and resources, including applying for admission, classroom-related assignments, campus event access, and more.

In partnership with SLCC Libraries (Library Services), SLCC Online provides dedicated library services for students in online courses.

Librarians also serve as the go-to resource for online faculty and instructional designers, collaborating to provide research and content creation for online courses with a focus in enhancing curriculum, engaging students, and promoting open educational resources (OER) to support student success.

An SLCC OneCard is required to use the materials in the library, to check in for testing appointments, and for many other college activities.

You may obtain an SLCC OneCard at any campus.

Students can also request a OneCard Online.
