Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinic

Our free of charge services are provided to individuals:

  • Who do not have insurance benefits for Physical and Occupational Therapy.
  • Referred by their Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) when they  need more service than what their current benefits will provide.
  • Who have exhausted their benefits for PT or OT and continue to need service.

Who provides Physical & Occupational Therapy?

  • Physical and Occupational therapists provide health care services to patients of all ages and health conditions. They serve the community by improving and maintaining the quality of life of individuals.

What does the Physical & Occupational Therapy Clinic offer?

  • Provides interventions such as therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy techniques, electrotherapeutic and physical agent modalities to improve the health and function of each patient.
  • Provides therapy in the areas of range of motion, manual muscle testing, as well as deficits in sensation, perception and cognition.
  • Completes an evaluation and establishes a plan of care including specific interventions designed to produce changes in the patient’s condition in order to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Teaches patients how to become more independent in dressing, bathing, shaving, cooking etc.
  • Designs and instructs each patient in a home exercise program.
