  • Zumba: A fun fusion of Latin and International music that combines Latin/international rhythms with dance and aerobic moves for a fun cardiovascular workout.
  • Hip Hop Dance Class: A fun class designed for novice dancers to learn and practice basic hip hop dance skills. No previous experience is necessary.
  • Rise and Shine Yoga: Set the tone of for your week with this uplifting yoga class. A great way to feel more fulfilled, empowered, confident and focused.
  • Morning Bliss Yoga: A slow yoga class that emphasizes alignment, mindfulness and props. A perfect way to start your day.
  • Yoga: A Zen filled hour of yoga to energize you for the rest of the day.
  • Butts & Guts – This class focuses on your lower body! Sculpt, shape, and strengthen your abdominal, glutes, and legs in this lower body targeted workout.
  • Circuits – Get your cardio and strength done in the most time effective, fun, workout possible.
  • Powerlifting – a nice block of time to train with like-minded people. For beginners who want to learn more about powerlifting, powerlifters who want to work on their form or those who want to train, prepare and practice for training or competing. The highlight of each semester is the fun practice meet to wrap it all up.
  • Jump Start Bootcamp* – A short one week jumpstart into health for those looking for the right motivation begin or continue their journey. The class meets 4 times for 1.5 hours to workout both strength and cardio with mini-lectures on wellness topics designed to steer you in the right direction. This class requires pre-registration with a small $20 fee to participate.
  • Jump Start Dates: September 25 – 28, October 2 – 5, October 23 – 25, November 6 - 9
  • Group Fitness Instructor** – Love to workout, love to work with people, looking for a fun way to supplement your income. There is a shortage of group fitness instructors in the valley. Learn to teach and then be eligible to gain experience teaching your peers at SLCC in a paid position. This class requires registration and students must complete with a C or better for the certificate (the grade does not go on your transcript). A 6-week course from October 3 – November 7th.
