Parking Lot Safety Escort Service

SLCC’s Department of Public Safety offers a parking lot safety escort service between 6:00 and 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Request the service by calling 801-957-3800 from any campus. The nearest Campus Safety Officer (CSO) or Utah Highway Patrol Officer will be dispatched to escort you to your car.

Always use the buddy system and walk with a friend after dark.

Family Justice Center / YWCA

Survivors of domestic violence can access many critical resources at the The Salt Lake Area Family Justice Center at the YWCA. Both male and female survivors can report domestic violence-related crimes to the police, obtain assistance with protective orders, speak to a victim advocate, contact a prosecuting attorney to learn about the criminal process or discuss a pending criminal case, find shelter, housing and support groups, and obtain employment and job training.

VINE / VINELINK

VINE and VINElink are notification systems. These services allow survivors of crimes to obtain timely and reliable information about criminal cases and the custody status of offenders 24 hours a day. Some states have the ability to display this website in Spanish. Survivors and other concerned citizens can also register to be notified by phone, email, text message (SMS) or TTY device when an offender's custody status changes.
