Readmission of Military Students and Veterans

Salt Lake Community College will readmit* returning military service members to their same academic status they held before they were called-up to active military service**.

Upon your return, you are required to submit an Admission Application Update along with a copy of your orders presented to the Veterans Services office at STC-053, even if your call-up orders were submitted to Veterans Services before your activation. The copy of your orders will allow us to provide a waiver for the application fee.

After you have completed your Readmission application, please contact Veterans Services so you can be assisted with your GI Bill benefits or tuition assistance.

*Salt Lake Community College will reenroll returning military students with the identical enrollment status, number of completed credits and academic standing of their last academic year attended.

**Active Military Services/Call-Up indicates state active-duty service, federally or state funded active-duty service. Services does not include training, advanced individual training, and special training periodically made available to service members.
