The Department of Performing Arts offers courses in Dance, Film, Music, and Theatre.

These courses are designed to foster creative expression, with the primary goal of helping students develop the confidence to take risks and discover their unique artistic voice. The department is committed to the artistic process through the disciplined study and practice of performing arts theory, techniques, and skills. To support this development, courses guide students from theoretical knowledge to practical application and performance.

Most courses are transferable. Students interested in pursuing a four-year degree in dance, film, music, or theatre are encouraged to contact the Division of Performing Arts & Finance at 801-957-3099 or PerformingArts@slcc.edu for additional information.

NOTE: The Department of Performing Arts does not currently offer a degree in dance.
