Students will earn a certificate focused ont the basic manufacturing strategies for hand-layup of composite aerospace structures. Students who complete one certificate may find work as an assembly, composites, or lay-up technician.

The program is very lab focused; students can expect to spend about 70% of their class time out in lab building carbon fiber parts. Students will be able to take home all the labs they work through.

The Composites Technician Onboarding program is eligible for STIT funding to cover 50% of tuition. Utah residency is required. To see if you qualify for STIT Funding and to complete the application:
