Basic Computer Skills III: Intro to Excel & Powerpoint

Intended for students who are new to computers and want support in learning to navigate and complete basic computer actions. Students will learn basic computer components, practice keyboarding skills, learn how to use the internet, email, and social media, plus job readiness skills. The program also includes introductory Microsoft courses in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, where students will use these software applications to create a current resume, personal budget and slide presentation.

Short Term Intensive Training (STIT) funding pays up to 50% of training costs for multiple programs leading to high-demand careers. To apply for funding, complete the STIT application to determine your eligibility. Funding is based on Utah Residency. If approved you will receive instructions to register for the program you selected.

   Enter your details, including reviewing, and accepting the Financial Responsibility statement.
