Law Enforcement
The Law Enforcement Academy is focused on training entry-level Law Enforcement Officers (LEO). Most of the training is hands-on and covers firearms, arrest and control techniques, and emergency vehicle operations. Special Function Officer (SFO) covers Utah code and other learning objectives in a classroom setting, along with some physical and defensive tactic training. LEO includes these subjects: hands-on scenario training, firearms training, building clearing, and many other certifications.
